Plymouth Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Cass County Crash

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -  September 29, 2009, at approximately 10:35 a.m., officers from the Indiana State Police and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle crash on County Road 550 North, west of County Road 1050 East, which seriously injured a Plymouth, IN, man.  

Preliminary investigation by Master Trooper Ron Whitney revealed that Terry W. Wiles, 53, Plymouth, IN, was driving a 2008 Kia Spectra eastbound on County Road 550 North, west of County Road 1050 East. The Kia traveled off the north side of the road, rolled at least three times, and came to rest on its wheels after traveling approximately 270 feet through a corn field. Wiles was flown from the crash scene by Life Line Helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, with life threatening injuries.  

Today, at 1:58 p.m., Wiles died from injuries sustained in the crash.
